08.15.08 | Radio and TV
Tune in Sunday, 8/17, at 9pm to DC101's Local Lix to hear No Second Troy! Yesterday we taped an interview and acoustic performance of our new song "Masquerade." It was cool hanging out in Elliott's studio with Whitney and watching Roche through the glass broadcasting.

Also, tune your televisions (I know you have 3 in your house) to Channel 8's Entertainment Forcast this weekend to see our tv performance of "Masquerade." Visit www.news8.net for more details.

And don't forget, we're @ the 930 Club next Friday with Telograph, Exit Clov, and the Reserves! Visit nosecondtroy.com for tix.

[Ok, update, I just clicked the Channel 8 link and if you click the link to the right you can stream the entire Entertainment Forcast show, including our interview and performance.]

07.13.08 | ESPN Tonight!
No Second Troy is going to be on Baseball Tonight on ESPN tonight @ 7pm! This is a brand new song from the band and the first featuring me on the drums. As a kid I always wanted to make it to a highlight reel but I always thought I'd be on as one of the Oakland A's!

I just posted new live recordings; a No Second Troy song live in Charlotte, NC, and two songs by The Blackjacks from our 930 club show on June 22. Go to the "Listen" page to check them out!

02.24.08 | No Second Troy @ the Viper Room, Hollywood
Playing LA was a whirlwind...Mike, John and I left from LAX to catch Beautiful Creatures open for Faster Pussycat @ Crash Mansion. I missed my cousin's set w/ the Creatures but we did get to hang out during FP's set. Oddly, I spotted Travis Barker hanging out literally sitting on the bar in the back of the half empty (or half full?) club.

The next day No Second Troy played the Gibson Showroom in Beverly Hills, and Sunday headlined the Viper Room in Hollywood. Both shows were a lot of fun; at the showroom I played on Leberace's piano, and at the Viper Room I got to talk with Pete Stahl (who was the singer of Dave Grohl's pre-Nirvana band).

02.04.08 | An Epic Weekend!
This was a great weekend for No Second Troy; we played Charlottesville on Friday, drove after the show to Raleigh (3 hrs...if you have directions), recorded @ Low Watt Saturday, left for Charlotte to play the Evening Muse that evening, and drove BACK to Raleigh after the show Saturday night so we could finish the recording on Sunday @ Low Watt. We'll have the recording mixed in time for our LA trip in 10 days (I can't wait to have it for y'all!) but in the mean time check out the live video of "The Gardens After Lockout" on Youtube. (It's from The Evening Muse on Saturday night.)

01.29.08 | NST Studio and Notes on Website Tracks
January is an exciting time; there is a lot of music going on! No Second Troy (www.myspace.com/nosecondtroy) is recording at Low Watt Studio with producer Ted Cumerford working on a new full length cd. We were in Raleigh this weekend working on it's turning out great!

Also, take a look at my 'Notepad' page here on the website to see notes on the tracks you'll hear on the website. You can find out which track was studio played, bootlegged live, manipulated w/ sound effects, named after my nephew, and which was played when I had a broken toe. Yeah, I suffered through it because I'm so tough; grr.

12.16.07 | No Second Troy @ the Black Cat
Come out to the Black Cat on January 11 to see my new band! Let me know if you want tickets ahead of time.
